Your New Trick

It's difficult to tell some of your firsts. For instance, you've been sitting up unaided for a few seconds at a time for a couple of weeks. However, it wasn't until this past week that you started sitting up by yourself for extended periods of time. So do we count the first time as one of the times you sat up momentarily, or does it only count when you sit up longer? And how long is long enough?

Either way, sitting up is something you really enjoy. You've always been a very curious girl, and sitting up gives you another perspective. You have really good posture, too, which you obviously get from your dad. Hopefully I won't have to chide you to stand up straight like my mother did with me.
