Nanny Share
Since I've been so sick, we realized we needed to get you into a more full-time daycare situation. Enter the nanny. Your friend, Henry, has had a nanny for most of his life. She was nice enough to take you on, as well, and we couldn't be happier.
You are really thriving with the nanny! You are now taking two naps a day (albeit a short second nap) so you're much less grumpy as bedtime approaches. Your walking abilities have really improved, too. But I think the biggest improvement has been your verbal skills. You're a pretty quiet (surprising coming from us), contemplative kid. In the past couple of weeks, though, you've really started verbalizing yourself more. You said "ut oh" today when you dropped something on the floor. It was really cute. It wasn't just "ut oh," it was "ut" (pause) "oh." We think you say bird now, too, and we're working on dog, although I think you find it confusing that the dogs in your life have names. You're not sure whether to call them by their names or call them dog.
Here's a picture from your walk today with Henry. I still can't believe his hair is redder than yours!
